Document preparation

Make the PDF predictable before upload

A carousel can meet every technical limit and still be hard to read. The document should preserve the page order, visual rhythm, and type hierarchy you approved in the editor.

Before export

  • Use identical dimensions and orientation on every page.
  • Keep the cover readable without relying on post copy.
  • Check small text and color contrast at phone size.
  • Flatten complex effects if the PDF preview renders them incorrectly.

Before publishing

PNG and PDF

Images are the design source; the document is the upload package

PNG is useful for preserving each designed page. For an organic LinkedIn document carousel, those pages need to be placed into one supported multi-page file. PDF is usually the clearest handoff because it keeps page order and presentation together.
